School violence unabated:
Is there a solution?The country has been gripped by a constant wave of school violence as extensively reported in the media. The Human Rights Commission is also in the process of compiling a report on its findings during the recent public hearings held in Cape Town. The Youth Violence Prevention Programme of The Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR) invites all the relevant role players - teachers, SGB's members, govt reps, NGO's, etc -to a seminar to explore the issues in depth.
