Eskom Saga and Advocate Karen Pillay not to be associated with CSVR's Karen Pillay

Unfortunately, the latest news regarding Eskom Executive Karen Pillay being accused of corruption and sabotage of sub-stations is creating confusion in linking the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation's Karen Pillay with Eskom.

The Centre wishes to clarify that our Business Continuity Manager, Karen Pillay, is not an advocate, nor does she work for Eskom. CSVR's Pillay already clarified on social media: "I wish to categorically state that the attached image is an old photo of me that S.A. Vibes are wrongfully and unlawfully using in their video regarding the fraud issue with Advocate Karen Pillay and Eskom."

CSVR's Pillay has requested that S.A. Vibes remove her image from this video and apologise for wrongfully and unlawfully slandering and tarnishing her image on public platforms.

Pillay further notes: "While I support calling out corruption and believe that Corporate Accountability is essential to fix the issues that we have in our economy, I cannot allow this type of unlawful reporting to compromise my safety and credibility as a qualified Company Secretary and Governance Practitioner."

@SAVIBES, please remove my image from your video on this incident and send a public notice that you have wrongfully and unlawfully used my image.
