"That Place is KwaMnyamandawo" : Fear and Survival Strategies Among Homeless Women Living in Inner-City Johannesburg

This study explores the fears and experiences of violence among homeless women living in inner city Johannesburg (2004). It forms part of a larger investigation initiated by the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR) which explored the relationship between space, time and sexual violence, with a view to identifying ways to reduce the rate of sexual violence, as well as women's fears of rape in the inner city.
