This paper provides the results of a comprehensive survey on relations between police and the community in Grahamstown, as well as a series of recommendations informed by this research. The research was commissioned by the Commission on Policing in Grahamstown.

She obtained her MPhil Criminology from Cambridge University and Post Graduate Diploma Monitoring & Evaluation Methods Monitoring & Evaluation Methods from Stellenbosch University.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The University of the Witwatersrand, Master's degree History from the University of The Witwatersrand and BA Hons History; African Politics; Industrial sociology from The University of the Witwatersrand.
